Flexible GI endoscopy is now an integral part of Gastroenterology and GI surgical practice. GI endoscopy has grown expo- nentially and now is a powerful therapeutic tool in addition to its existing diagnostic use. Surgeons frequently require endoscopic procedures prior to surgery. Several surgical procedures are now being performed endoscopically in a safe & effective manner.

Thus in today's age, a GI surgeon having endoscopic capability is imperative. This course is specially designed to teach the right technique of GI endoscopy to GI surgeons by our team of experts.

Course Objectives
  • To understand the mechanics and parts of a flexible video endoscope.

  • Standard reporting for upper GI and lower GI endoscopies.
  • Cleaning & disinfecton of endoscopes as well as accessories.
